DAINTREE STORE

Welcome to Daintree Village, the little town at the end of the road on the east coast of Australia. Daintree is one of the premium places to visit on holiday or vacation. The village is tiny with a population of less than 100 people. Many visitors come during the day for lunch, a river cruise and maybe a little souvenir hunting. Overnight guests can dine at Ellenor's place next door to the Daintree Store and can stay at one of the B&B's or cabins which are ideal for families. There are lots of interesting things to do in Daintree and the village makes a good base.

Come inside and look around.

At the Daintree Store you can stock up on groceries and essentials like milk and bread. Daily newspapers, ice and bait for fishing. Cold beer, wine and spirits. There is an information centre to help you plan your activities in and around the area.

From 1 January 2007 the Daintree Store will be under new management and will be run by the Booth family.
