Welcome to Daintree Village, the little town at the end of the road on the east coast of Australia. Daintree is one of the premium places to visit on holiday or vacation. The village is tiny with a population of less than 100 people. Many visitors come during the day for lunch, a
river cruise >
and maybe a little souvenir hunting. Overnight guests can dine at the
Village Restaurant next door to the Daintree Store and can stay at the local
budget holiday home which is ideal for families. There are lots of
interesting things to do
in Daintree > and the village makes a good base.
Come inside and look around.
At the Daintree Store you can stock up on groceries and essentials like milk and
bread. Daily newspapers, ice and bait for fishing. Cold beer, wine and spirits.
There is a tour booking counter to help you plan and book your activities in and around the area.
(The Daintree Store is the only information centre that is not owned by a tour
boat company.)
