Wonga Beach
Wonga Beach is one of tropical north Queensland's best kept secrets.
At the entrance to the Daintree Valley Wonga is overlooked by the mid-morning invasion of the Daintree rainforest by tourists. Stretching from Rocky Point, at the southern access of Captain Cook Highway, to the Daintree River in the north Wonga Beach is easily accessible and has the best beach walk in the district.

The air is clean, coming in from the Coral Sea in the form of S-E trade winds during the main holiday season.
